MedVent Program Information

The goal of the Medical Venturer program is to introduce youths to the medical field, provide the youth an opportunity to determine their potential and desire in first aid.

The first link in the chain of survival is first aid. The MedVent program allows youths work closely with various people whose chosen career is in the Medical field. With the aid of their sponsors, many MedVent groups provides the youth an introduction in the operations of a paramedicine organization.

The program also tries to provide the youth an introduction to rigors one needs to enter the workforce in a safe environment.

One of the goals of the program is to provide the youth with the opportunity to solidify their desire to enter the medical field or to confirm their desire not to enter the medical field. Many of our members have entered into careers in the medical field as first aiders, paramedics, nurses and doctors.
